Bridal Alterations

Most standard alteration packages typically start from £250 and range up to £500, depending on the alterations required and complexity of the dress. For more detailed gowns, including those with full skirts, corsets, or intricate designs, the alterations can range up to £700. Every dress is unique, so the final cost depends on its style and complexity—but I’ll always make sure you know exactly what to expect before we begin.

Send me an email or go to my contact page, with your details and your wedding date. It’s useful if you are happy to share photos in your dress or the name of the dress and where you purchased it. Let me know if you have a rough idea of the alterations needed or if you are looking to make any changes.

Get in touch

Usually 2-3 fittings are required and I recommend booking these in around 6-8 months in advance to ensure you get appointments for your fittings. We would typically start your alterations 8-12 weeks before your wedding date.

If your wedding is in less than 12 weeks, don’t worry, still get in touch and I will try my best to accommodate you.

Booking in your fittings

This is where I will assess the fit of your dress and start working on getting the perfect fit! I will also give you a quote for the alterations and kindly ask for 50% deposit to proceed.

You will need to bring your dress in a full length zip bag and don't forget to bring your shoes and underwear you wish to wear with your dress!

Initial Fitting

At your final fitting with me, we are double checking the fit of your dress after the work has been completed! I kindly ask for the final 50% balance to be paid on or before this fitting.
